Essence Prettifying Lip Oil: #Review

Its a Review Blog!!! Whooop Whooop I'm super excited!

So I know you all know my love and obsession with Essence Make-up. Today I decided to give my honest and open opinion on the Essence Prettifying Lip Oil!


So I suffer from dry lips. My lips crack and peel every second day and you all know how terrible this looks when you trying to rock a matt or liquid lipstick. So I decided to give this Essence Prettifying Lip Oil a try.

Appearance: 8/10
This Lip Oil comes in 3 colours and I must admit standing in Dischem looking very confused at the Essence stand I couldn't find myself buying a pink or yellow lip oil so I chose the red one instead. The packaging is really cute and fits easily into your purse or pocket for those lady's who don't like using bags. The clear tube makes you see exactly how much product is in the tube. However after one day of having it the white rim on the tube started cracking and it looks like my pretty lipgloss is old.

Application: 9/10
I absolutely love this product. I expected the colour to be more pigmented but it apply's smooth and almost clear so its perfect to wear as a clear gloss or over any other lip colour. The consistency of the Lip Oil is really thick and I love that it lasts quite long after application and I for one can never keep my lip products on. The Lip Oil immediately makes your lips feel soft and smooth and they were right by saying it leaves a light feeling. My lips don't feel like their is a thick gloss on it. I haven't has a lip peel or crack since using this Essence Lip Oil.

Overall: 9/10
Overall I really love this product and it has now become apart of my everyday routine whether I use it to base my lips before applying a lip colour or just on its own because of its pretty glossy shine, I cannot get enough. The Lip Oil is infused with Jojoba Oil which locks in your lips moisture and ensure's that they stay hydrated for much longer.

So I would totally recommend this Essence Prettifying Lip Oil to all you lady's or men out there that had cracked and dry lips. You will see the difference in a few days.

Lets dive in a little deeper to what was included.
