The Blood will never loose its Power!
Hey hey Blessed and Anointed Children of the Most High!
I hope you are having a super blessed week so far.
So I got the opportunity to delve deeper into the meaning of the Blood this week thanks to Pastor Chris Machaka from Glory Life Church who blessed us at Gods Way Church this past Sunday.
So here goes.
Revelation12:11
"They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death."
The first and most important thing to know is the only way to overcome the devil is my the BLOOD OF THE LAMB!
We need to know who we are in the spirit. Satan is real and he is literally our worst enemy. He is also the root of all the problems we face, weather it be disease, financial bondage, marital problem, family issues, you name it, its probably satan trying to get you down.
When I became born again I soon learnt that the road ahead of me wasn't going to be easy nor was the attacks upon my life going to get any less.
The spiritual world is so real and some people take it lightly. We don't realize that every step we take is audited by God but also every step we take, satan is trying to attack us and destroy our lives. We've got to lead a balanced life. By balanced I mean a physical life of walking in worship and prayer with God daily but also equipping yourself for spiritual battle everyday.
I'm reminded of the story in Exodus 12:12-13 where it speaks about the Passover.
"12 “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt."
God instructed the people of Israel to cover their doors with the blood of a lamb. This was not just a physical thing that the people of Israel had to do but Spiritual too. We need to cover ourselves with the blood of the Lamb ( Jesus Christ) daily, so that the devil and his minions will "passover" us and not harm us. We deal with demonic forces daily and its not always a physical attack but emotional and spiritually too. I was once faced with a problem that whenever I sit down to read my bible I feel exhausted and have no energy until God showed me the spiritual attack and that I have to cover myself with the blood even when reading his word. The devil will literally try everything to destroy you.
Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. You might have a problem that you have been facing for 38 years like the man at the pool of Bethesda but like this man experienced, God can change that in one minute. All you got to do is have faith. God didn't call us to be apart of his project team to solve our problems. His instruction was simple. TRUST IN ME!
The only thing that can deal with death is the blood. When Jesus died on the cross he satisfied the desire of death on our lives. When the blood is released misfortune is no more. Jesus knew the only way was the blood. An example of this is God told Moses to tell pharaoh to let his people go but he refused. Only when there was blood on their doors did he let them go.
Bondage and slavery were waiting for the release of blood. Could it be that your problem is waiting for the release of blood and for you to realize the power you have in the blood.
The Holy Communion is so important. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
" 23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenantin my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes."
When we partake of the Lords meal we need to realize that its not only the blood and body of Christ that we are partaking of but also that there is life in the meal. Holy communion gives you life. We need to take communion often and be reminded that the body and blood is life and we accept life and not death. Jesus Blood is life and we need to always take in the life. We are not destined to walk in death. Walk in Life!!
We need to learn to take authority over the life Jesus has given us. Satan is always seeking an opportunity to destroy you. Cover yourself in the blood of Jesus Daily, partake of the blood and walk in the blood! Know who you are in Christ.
I'm going to leave you with a verse just to let you know how special you are to God. He Loves you unconditionally. Lets live a life pleasing unto Him knowing who we are and the power and authority he has given us.
God will protect, love and cherish you all the days of your life. Stay faithful to Him in all you do.
